The passing of Kevin Johnson, a respected contractor and beloved member of our community, has left many hearts heavy with grief. Kevin was more than just a skilled professional in his field—he was a loyal friend, a devoted family man, and a source of inspiration for all who knew him. His legacy is one that will continue to live on in the projects he built, the relationships he nurtured, and the love he shared.

A Life of Hard Work and Dedication

Kevin Johnson was well known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to his work as a contractor. For decades, he poured his energy and passion into building homes, renovating spaces, and creating structures that would stand the test of time. Every project he touched reflected his commitment to excellence and his deep pride in his craft.

Clients often spoke of Kevin not just as a contractor but as someone who genuinely cared about the people he served. He believed in doing things the right way, never cutting corners, and always putting quality first. His work has left a lasting mark on our neighborhoods, with many homes and businesses standing as a testament to his skill and dedication.

A Family Man at Heart

Beyond his professional life, Kevin Johnson’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a loving father and relative who always put family first. Those close to him describe him as someone who worked tirelessly to provide, protect, and support his loved ones.

Kevin’s family remembers him for his patience, his warm sense of humor, and his ability to bring comfort and encouragement during difficult times. He taught valuable lessons about responsibility, perseverance, and kindness—not just through words, but through the way he lived each day.

A Friend to Many

Kevin Johnson’s kindness extended far beyond his household. Friends and colleagues often recall his willingness to lend a helping hand, share advice, or simply offer a listening ear. He had a gift for making people feel valued, respected, and understood.

His approachable nature and humble spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Whether it was on a construction site, at a family gathering, or in casual conversation, Kevin had a way of making others feel welcome and appreciated.

His Faith and Strength

Kevin’s life was also guided by his faith. He believed in the importance of living with honesty, gratitude, and compassion. During challenging times, he turned to God for strength and encouraged others to trust in divine guidance. His faith provided him with peace, and it gave comfort to his loved ones, knowing that he lived with a heart anchored in hope and belief.

A Legacy That Lives On

Though Kevin Johnson may no longer be with us physically, his spirit continues to live on through the people he touched and the work he accomplished. Every wall he built, every family he helped, and every friend he supported serves as a reminder of his generosity and dedication.

His legacy is one of hard work, love, and faith. The community will not forget the contributions he made, both professionally and personally. Kevin’s memory will be honored not just in words but in the daily lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Saying Goodbye

Losing Kevin Johnson is a painful reminder of how precious life truly is. As we grieve his passing, we also celebrate his remarkable life. We remember a man who gave his best in every role—contractor, father, and friend.

To those mourning his loss, let us find comfort in knowing that Kevin’s story does not end here. The love he shared and the impact he made will continue to ripple across generations. His memory will forever inspire us to live with kindness, work with integrity, and cherish the time we have with our loved ones.

Wilbert, lovingly known as Gada, Burty, Cushy, was born on December 22, 1929, and passed on March 9, 2025. A man of wisdom, culture, and quiet strength, His life was filled with purpose, pride, and unwavering love for his family.

Together, they painted a picture of commitment, dignity, and love. Now reunited in eternity, their spirits live on in the hearts of those they’ve left behind. We are grateful for their lives, their lessons, and their legacies.
