Funeral Button Design by Bourne and south Funeral Service and supplies

In this time of reflection and remembrance, we honor two beloved souls — Detel Rosalina McLarty and Wilbert Augustus McLarty — whose presence in our lives was nothing short of a blessing.

Detel, affectionately called Sweetie, Mom, was born on April 27, 1940, and departed this life just days before her birthday on April 19, 2025. Her nurturing spirit, endless strength, and warm smile were a constant source of comfort. She was the heart of her family — a woman of grace who left a mark on everyone she encountered.

Wilbert, lovingly known as Gada, Burty, Cushy, was born on December 22, 1929, and passed on March 9, 2025. A man of wisdom, culture, and quiet strength, His life was filled with purpose, pride, and unwavering love for his family.

Together, they painted a picture of commitment, dignity, and love. Now reunited in eternity, their spirits live on in the hearts of those they’ve left behind. We are grateful for their lives, their lessons, and their legacies.

Rest in Heaven, Sweetie and Gada. You are forever in our hearts.
